Chuck Greenberg to Step Down as Rangers' CEO

Reports are coming out early this morning that Chuck Greenberg will be stepping down as the Rangers’ CEO as soon as today. TR Sullivan has the full story over at MLB.com.

Here is a snippet from Sullivan’s story,

An announcement could come as early as Friday, although Rangers vice president John Blake said, “the club has no comments on reports at this time.” The news was first reported late Thursday night by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Greenberg’s resignation likely signals a conflict within the Rangers’ leadership team. He had been to Spring Training twice but recently cut short what was supposed to be a week-long stay.

The full story can be found here.

We here at Nolan Writin’ will have more info as well as our personal opinions as the day moves on.
