He definitely has the potential to be a solid closer if everything can come together and stay together. He also has the potential to be a decent starter as well especially if he can find some time in the bullpen to develop everything and get back into the swing of things.

I must say, we are glad to have him. He definitely has potential and I hope the Rangers see that and put him somewhere he can strengthen himself whether it's in AAA or in the Majors. If he doesn't make the roster this year, he's definitely one to be called up if the need arises later in the season and will most definitely be on the roster for 2012.

You also have to taken into account my unabashed love for Lowe. But, with good reason. The guy has the potential to be a solid closer if he gets everything working.

I have been a big supporter of Lowe his last couple of years in Seattle and I'm kind of torn on him being in Texas.

I know that Spring Training stats don't say everything, but the numbers are still there and plenty take those numbers into account. I think Lowe has a better chance than Tomko to make the bullpen and probably Tobin too but we'll just have to wait and see. I could very well be wrong as it's happened before, I just don't see the Rangers finding a spot for him just yet...
