Sorry for not getting a preview up today but thankfully, the baseball gods were on my side because despite the Texas Rangers being all set to move in for another sweep Friday, Mother Nature kept them from doing so. It was apparently pouring in Baltimore resulting in the game between the Texas Rangers and the Baltimore Orioles to be postponed until Saturday. This means that the teams will have a straight double-header on Saturday starting at 4:35 p.m ET.
A little more after the jump….
After being so successful in the first two three-game series, I don’t necessarily think the guys needed two days off. However, I can be proven wrong and this extra day could just give them a boost they need to beat a team that is nearly as good as they are with the Orioles having gone 5-1 for the season.
The pitchers for the Rangers will be Colby Lewis and then Matt Harrison with Baltimore sending out Zach Britton and then Jake Arrieta. Keep an eye on the site for a preview sometime in the morning before noon for both games.
