Last night the Chicago White Sox were dominated by Colby Lewis. Lewis who has struggled this year, improved his record to 4 and 4. In the complete game Lewis allowed only five hits and one walk. Colby also had his strikeout pitch working well for him last night earning seven in the game.

On the offensive side, the Rangers base runners tormented A.J.Pierzynski, stealing three bases in the game. Michael Young, Craig Gentry and Endy Chavez all had steals last night.

Speaking of Endy Chavez, he had an impressive game last night. Chavez was 3 for 5 after going hit less since his call-up. Ian Kinsler was 1 for 4 with an RBI, Michael Young was 2 for 5 with an RBI and Adrian Beltre went 2 for 4 with an RBI. Every Ranger in the lineup had a hit tonight aside from Chris Davis. Davis was 0 for 4 with two strikeouts after an excellent game on Sunday afternoon.

Lots of positives to look at for this game, the bullpen was able to get an entire night off. The Rangers record is now at 22 and 19, three games above .500. Thanks to an extra-inning effort from Oakland, the Rangers are now in 1st place by half of a game . The Rangers will face the White Sox again for the final game in the short two-game series. Matt Harrison is scheduled to face John Danks at 7:10pm.
