Hochevar Vs Holland: Tonight’s Pitching Matchup and Lineups

Tonight the Rangers take on the Kansas City Royals for game number two of a two-game series. The two teams have matched up four times this season and the Rangers have won them all. Last night was especially exciting with an extra-inning win. Today it’s Derek Holland versus Luke Hochevar.

Luke Hochevar (3-4 4.87 ERA) was outstanding in his last outing allowing only three runs and seven hits against Detroit. Unfortunately he was facing Justin Verlander…who is just ridiculous this season.

Derek “The Dutch Oven” Holland (3-1 4.91 ERA) takes the mound for your Rangers. Holland has struggled recently and looks to quickly rebound tonight.This is a pretty even pitching match-up tonight, hopefully Derek can notch the win. Holland is win-less in his last four starts.
