Tonight at 6:05pm the Rangers take on the Royals for the second of a three game series –
Matt Harrison LHP was fantastic in his last outing. Harry beat the Phillies allowing only five hits and no runs in 8.1 innings. After multiple tough starts he finally came through. His off-speed pitches and breaking balls really complimented his mid-90’s fastball. Against the Phillies it really felt as if he was finally putting everything together, and hopefully he can repeat today after the ugly loss last night.
Sean O’Sullivan RHP is trying to rebound off of two tough outings. He has given up more runs than innings pitched in those last two starts.
This could be the spark that the Rangers offense needed to get rolling. Aside from short bursts the boys haven’t really found their mojo. With Nelson Cruz and Josh Hamilton back, lets hope this is a game where they just beat the ball into submission.
The key to today’s game for the Rangers is Matt Harrison. After the entire bullpen was used in last nights debacle, Harry needs to go as deep into the game as possible.
