Texas Rangers Humiliate Orioles in Sweep

The offense was a monster last night, and the Orioles never had a chance. We saw another three-hit game from Michael Young, a three-run homer from Mike Napoli, and a final score of 13 to 5. Not to mention we had another stellar pitching night from the starter Alexi Ogando. The Rangers picked up a series sweep, defeating a talented Baltimore squad.

Ogando picked up his ninth win of the season, he pitched a full seven innings only allowing three runs. The three runs allowed by Alexi all came via home-runs. He had five strikeouts and only allowed one runner to walk.

Every Rangers starter had a hit in the game except for Josh Hamilton, Joshy did pick up a walk and a run scored on the night. Every starter had a run scored except for Nelson Cruz who still had three RBIs on the night. It was one of those nights that Rangers fans love to see.

Not much else to say here – the Rangers beat the cover off of the ball and pitched well. 13 runs on 18 hits, and no fielding errors, not  a bad night at all. Tonight we see the Oakland Athletics, in a make-up game for the rain out earlier this season. Let’s hope they can keep the momentum going.
