Rangers Lose 1-0 to Angels: Very Brief Recap

Forgive my short recap, there just wasn’t too much to say about this one. Going into the fifth inning, C.J. Wilson had a no hitter going – and his team was losing 1 to 0. This also ended up being the final score.

In the second inning Wilson hit Howie Kendrick with a pitch, who gets to second base on a wild pitch. Then Endy Chavez dropped a routine fly ball. Kendrick scored on the play.

That was pretty much the game- Wilson was spectacular but had no run support.  He went eight innings allowed two hits and a walk and picked up 8 strikeouts.

It’s tough to see the Rangers lose one this way, but after so many wins in a row this one doesn’t hurt that bad.
