As the number of days grows shorter to the start of the Texas Rangers 2012 season a lot of good things will happen. Spring Training becomes more relevant as starters start to get the lion share of time, and all of the players have a better sense for what the year will bring. It’s a fun time to be a fan. In today’s player choice in the 25 man roster we will look at number 10, Michael Young.

Michael Young has come a long way in the role he plays since coming up to the big leagues. He has been an All Star 7 times, he has received a Gold Glove award and received MVP votes 5 times. Young has now become the utility infielder of choice for the Texas Rangers and Ron Washington, I for one am happy anytime he plays in the infield, except when he plays first.
