Opening Day 2012 is in the history books. The Texas Rangers won their opening game against the Chicago White Sox 3-2 behind a good start by Colby Lewis and the bullpen doing their part by maintaining the lead. To carry on the winning ways of the majors the Advanced A level Myrtle Beach Pelicans also won their first game of the year. This didn’t have the heroics of the Rangers game as the Pelicans were able to bury the Wilmington Blue Rocks 6-0.

I am married to a wonderful woman who relunctantly tolerates baseball. I have three great kids who chase down autographs and foul balls with the best of them. I have been a fan of baseball my entire life, literally at a Big Red Machine game while in utero. I love my Texas Rangers since I can remember, I remember Mitch Williams being a Texas Ranger okay? While I am away from Texas I have the pleasure of watching the Rangers prospects playing with the Hickory Crawdads and Myrtle Beach Pelicans. The Texas Rangers Farm System, past and present is a real treat for me and will be happy to answer any prospect question you may have.
