Friday at L P Frans Stadium was a clinic in how errors can beat you no matter how well you play offensively. The young Hickory Crawdads team will do well to remember this game for the terrible feeling it left them with and the desire to not repeat issues that caused it to occur.
The 9-4 loss to the Asheville Tourists, the affiliate of the Colorado Rockies could have ended differently. The Crawdads bats were alive most of the night with a mighty 13 hits. Yet they weren’t the only ones who were batting as the Tourists were able to get 11 hits.
I am married to a wonderful woman who relunctantly tolerates baseball. I have three great kids who chase down autographs and foul balls with the best of them. I have been a fan of baseball my entire life, literally at a Big Red Machine game while in utero. I love my Texas Rangers since I can remember, I remember Mitch Williams being a Texas Ranger okay? While I am away from Texas I have the pleasure of watching the Rangers prospects playing with the Hickory Crawdads and Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
The Texas Rangers Farm System, past and present is a real treat for me and will be happy to answer any prospect question you may have.
