The Round Rock Express is the only Rangers affiliate that has a losing record at 2-7 in the young season. Following their loss last night against the Iowa Cubs they have Zack Jackson on the mound tonight. In his first start of the year he went 6.1 innings. He gave up 4 earned runs with 7 hits with no walks and 1 strikeout. He took the loss in that game and will hopefully have a better start today and get the Express heading the right way down the track.

AA Frisco RoughRiders are facing the Springfield Cardinals today with starter Jacob Brigham on the mount today. In his previous outing Brigham went 6 innings giving up no runs on 3 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. He received no decision during that quality start.

Advanced A Myrtle Beach will have Nicholas Tepesch on the mound for tonight. In his only other start of the year he went 4.2 innings with 3 runs, all of which were unearned, on 4 hits no walks and 3 strikeouts. This will be the second game of the series against the junior Red Sox and hopefully the Pelicans can win this one too.

The Hickory Crawdads look to turn things around with Santo Perez on the mound. This will be his second start this season, the first of which was not a good way to start the season. He went 3 innings and gave up 5 runs, 4 hits with 1 walk and 4 strikeouts. His ERA after that start is a gigantic 15.00. It is also Eric Church bobble head night for all of you country music fans.

Good luck Rangers!
