After an off day the Texas Rangers are getting back in the saddle with a short 2 game series against the Boston Red Sox. The 8-2 Rangers are going to have Colby Lewis once again on the mound following Neftali 0Feliz’s start on Sunday. In his first two starts of the year Lewis has been in wonderful form with a 1.42 ERA after 12.2 innings pitched. Lewis has allowed 2 runs on 12 hits with a walk and an astounding 15 strikeouts. This will be game 11 for the Rangers and the first of the games against American League East teams.

AAA Round Rock Express will have Texas prospect Neil Ramirez on the mound for the 3 time this year. His April 12th start against Omaha was a rough outing for him. In a mere 5.0 innings he allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, 3 walks and 10 strikeouts. That outing raised his ERA to 5.0 but with a good first outing and a bad second outing the jury is still out on this young man. The Express are 4-8 on the year and this will be game 13 for the Express.
