Late Wednesday the word began to spread that Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez would retire Monday as a Texas Ranger. This event will mark the end to the career of one of the greatest catchers of all time and arguably the best Texas Ranger ever. For 13 years he was in Arlington and gave his best for the team and the fans. Hopefully it will be just a matter of time until his number 7 is retired in RBiA. Thanks Pudge for all the memories.
I am married to a wonderful woman who relunctantly tolerates baseball. I have three great kids who chase down autographs and foul balls with the best of them. I have been a fan of baseball my entire life, literally at a Big Red Machine game while in utero. I love my Texas Rangers since I can remember, I remember Mitch Williams being a Texas Ranger okay? While I am away from Texas I have the pleasure of watching the Rangers prospects playing with the Hickory Crawdads and Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
The Texas Rangers Farm System, past and present is a real treat for me and will be happy to answer any prospect question you may have.
