I was all ready to move past the loss to Justin Verlander but I could not get something out of my head and it’s been gnawing at me most of the day. So in an attempt to make what happened make sense I will test my theory and see if there is validity.
Neftali Feliz was pitching lights out against the Tigers, his pitch count was through the floor and more importantly Justin Verlander didn’t seem to have his A game going. Verlander was visibly upset with himself and the quality of pitches he was throwing. The score was 1-0 Rangers and the only thing that was consistent for the Tigers was their aggravating young fan behind plate who was dressed like Tony the Tiger.
I am married to a wonderful woman who relunctantly tolerates baseball. I have three great kids who chase down autographs and foul balls with the best of them. I have been a fan of baseball my entire life, literally at a Big Red Machine game while in utero. I love my Texas Rangers since I can remember, I remember Mitch Williams being a Texas Ranger okay? While I am away from Texas I have the pleasure of watching the Rangers prospects playing with the Hickory Crawdads and Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
The Texas Rangers Farm System, past and present is a real treat for me and will be happy to answer any prospect question you may have.
