In Game 2 of the series against the Toronto Blue Jays the Texas Rangers are going with Neftali Feliz on the mound. This is Feliz’s first start since his April 21st start against the Detroit Tigers. Including his 3 starts and one inning of relief work against the New York Yankees he has an ERA of 3.00. His 14 strikeouts against 8 walks is a good ratio. Introducing him into the starting rotation will be able to extend his ability into other areas for the Rangers. Yu Darvish was excellent in his start last night against the Blue Jays. The win puts Texas at 17-6 in a firm grasp of the American League West. This will be game 24 for the Rangers.
I am married to a wonderful woman who relunctantly tolerates baseball. I have three great kids who chase down autographs and foul balls with the best of them. I have been a fan of baseball my entire life, literally at a Big Red Machine game while in utero. I love my Texas Rangers since I can remember, I remember Mitch Williams being a Texas Ranger okay? While I am away from Texas I have the pleasure of watching the Rangers prospects playing with the Hickory Crawdads and Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
The Texas Rangers Farm System, past and present is a real treat for me and will be happy to answer any prospect question you may have.
