Perhaps I am the exception to the rule but lasts night’s loss doesn’t bother me as much as some other fans. That is probably based on the realization that I take what Tommy Lasorda once said to heart. It was also a bad loss and those you can learn from, close losses where you do everything right and still come up short are, to me, acts of the baseball gods and they can take the wind out of your team. So perhaps the best thing for the club and the fans is that today the Texas Rangers play early. On the mound will be Matt Harrison. The lefty will be attempting to put his last start against the Rays behind him. The 14 hits and 6 earned runs were more than his previous 3 starts combined. The Rangers are 17-7 for the year. This will be game 25.
I am married to a wonderful woman who relunctantly tolerates baseball. I have three great kids who chase down autographs and foul balls with the best of them. I have been a fan of baseball my entire life, literally at a Big Red Machine game while in utero. I love my Texas Rangers since I can remember, I remember Mitch Williams being a Texas Ranger okay? While I am away from Texas I have the pleasure of watching the Rangers prospects playing with the Hickory Crawdads and Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
The Texas Rangers Farm System, past and present is a real treat for me and will be happy to answer any prospect question you may have.
