It was a great result for the Texas Rangers against their rivals from Los Angeles. They kept Pujols cold, beat C.J. Wilson (and then faced him again) and beat Jered Weaver. Not much more could have gone right except for a couple of late inning runs against Matt Harrison that was the difference in the middle game of the series.
Josh Hamilton has been incredible, and the hitting is so good the pitching hardly matters anymore. It was a successful first test for the Rangers against the AL West, and now it’s on to a couple of short two-game sets before their new rival and soon-to-be division rival the Houston Astros.
