Jon Daniels knows that the Texas Rangers had some offensive issues last season. Nelson Cruz is expected to reject the Texas Rangers qualifying offer today, and I don’t believe that the Texas Rangers are going to offer A.J. Pierzynski another contract. They need to upgrade the offense and figure out what to do about the clogged up infield featuring Mitch Moreland, Jurickson Profar, Ian Kinsler, Elvis Andrus and Adrian Beltre.

According to the Texas Rangers website, there has already been interest by other clubs in Texas Rangers first baseman Mitch Moreland. The Rangers are not so sure he is not the first baseman of the future, but they are listening to offers that teams will make for him. The Rangers will also be seeing what kind of interest other team may have in Jurickson Profar, Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus. There is specualtion out there that the Yankees may want to try to put a package together to get either Profar or Andrus to come to NY. Not sure that the Yankees have the prospects to do that, but it will be interesting to see if they do make an offer and what the Rangers reaction will be.

Mccann is still an option, as well as all of the other guys that we have discussed here on this site. Bookmark us and keep coming back, the next three days should be really fun.
