Elvis Andrus will miss a few cactus league games due to arm soreness according to the Texas Rangers website. Texas Rangers assistant GM Thad Levine had this to say about the soreness.

"“It’s just kind of localized soreness in his forearm, we’re going to try to knock it out early in camp rather than continue to play him every day and not give him a chance to recover.”"

So another Texas Rangers player is struggling to stay on the field in spring training. The Texas Rangers and Elvis Andrus do not seem to think that it is anything too serious, but it is something to watch out for. Either way Rangers fans won’t be seeing Elvis Andrus out there for a couple of days while he rests. We all know that Elvis is a hard worker, and we have most definitely seen this spring that the Texas Rangers are not shy about holding a guy out for a few days to make sure that they are going to be okay. At this point I am not worried about Elvis Andrus, I think it is more getting back into the swing of playing baseball everyday and less of an injury to worry about. He will be fine, but it is something to note if you are taking notes about spring training.
