For those of us worried about another one of the Texas Rangers infielder not being ready for the start of the season, Elvis Andrus is now off of that list.

Elvis Andrus has been dealing with a sore elbow for a week plus, but he appears to be ready to go tonight in San Antonio where the Texas Rangers will take on the Houston Astros.

"“I knew my arm just needed to get stronger … it feels amazing,” Andrus said. “It wasn’t a concern for me. I was trying to get my arm in shape to be ready for the season.” ESPN Dallas"

Elvis and the Texas Rangers now feel that his arm is ready for the season, and it is not a moment too soon with the injuries to Jurickson Profar and Geovany Soto. Although Donnie Murphy looked pretty sharp last night against Mexico. The Texas Rangers will play their big league weekend series against the Astros before coming home to prepare for the Phillies to come into town for opening day, which is now only three short days away. More on that to come for sure.
