Chris Gimenez, who was on the Texas Rangers Opening day roster has cleared waivers. He was a late addition to the Rangers during spring training and was kept on the 25-man roster instead of designating him for assignment.
Chris Gimenez has to be on #Rangers‘ roster because he was claimed so close to the regular season. Can be taken off early next week.
