Former Texas Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler was caught off guard earlier today when he was picked off first during the Tigers game against the Royals. Texas Rangers fans won’t be surprised at all to hear that Ian Kinsler was picked off, seeing that he seemed to do that way too often as a member of the Texas Rangers. Ian was caught napping in a game that his team ultimately won, but he had to have caught some flak from his teammates for this. You can see the video here.

There are a whole lot of embarrassing things that happen during a baseball season, seeing that there are so many games that are played, but most players learn from their mistakes and try not to repeat them. I am not saying that Ian Kinsler gets picked off all of the time, but it seems to happen to him more than most. Maybe he is too comfortable now that he is not having to play in the Texas heat everyday, and he got lulled to sleep but the beautiful weather. Who knows, but either way, this was noteworthy in my opinion and just a teeny bit funny. Enjoy.
