Two years ago, I got tired of football and decided to see what baseball was all about. Intrigued by the youngest GM in the league, I decided to follow the Texas Rangers, and purchased an MLB.TV subscription. From then on, I watched every Rangers game, and read every blog, newspaper article, and press release of Rangers material. I was captivated by the elegant contrast between the unpredictable path of the ball off the bat, and the plethora of sabermetric statistics that predicted every aspect of the game. I have known World Series baseball the only two seasons I have been a fan, which has transformed me into an adoring perfectionist, who loves the Rangers but can't tolerate when they don't win it all. I am graduating in the spring of 2012 from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Government and Politics, and currently work part time with the Federal government.
