There's no getting around it, the past few games have been disastrous for the Texas Rangers. They had a 2-0 lead in the ALCS but it's now all of a sudden, after losing three-straight, the Astros hold a 3-2 lead and are one win away from returning to the World Series.

Luckily, I think they're in a great spot to win on Sunday and force a Game 7.

I'm going to breakdown why I like the Rangers today, but before I do, I encourage you to sign up for an account at FanDuel Sportsbook. For a limited time, new users will receive $200 in bonus bets when they place their first $10 wager. Just click the link below to take advantage of this offer!

Rangers vs. Astros prediction and pick

This game is a repeat of the pitching matchup from Game 2 where the Rangers secured the 5-4 victory.

Nathan Eovaldi will face off against Framber Valdez and it's been a tale of two pitchers this offseason. Eovaldi has been lights out with a 2.29 ERA and a 3-0 record, while Valdez has struggled to say the least, going 0-2 with an 11.57 ERA. He has allowed nine earned runs in 7.0 innings pitched in the playoffs.

Even in the regular season, Valdez struggled when facing the Rangers. In three starts against them, he went 1-2 with a 4.32 ERA. It seems like the Rangers have his number and I don't expect anything to change today.

I'll back the Rangers as slight underdogs to get the job done and force Game 7.
