Two high level offenses take the field in a weekend series finale on Sunday afternoon.

Blake Snell is putting up Cy Young like numbers this season, but the Texas Rangers bolster one of the most potent offenses in baseball, will the bats win the day? Here are teh odds and our best bet for Sunday's matchup:

Rangers vs. Padres odds, run line and total

Rangers vs. Padres prediction and pick

Snell has been on a tear, posting the best ERA in the National League this season at 2.61, but he will face a stiff test in the Rangers offense, who has the best batting average in baseball, and checks in second in OPS against southpaws.

While Snell's numbers look impressive, regression can come for him hard given tht his Fielding Independent Pitching (FIP) is 3.70, more than a run above his actual ERA. Snell has been good, but he also has received a ton of help in the field.

The Rangers will counter with rookie left hander Cody Bradford, who has made five starts and 11 appearances. The Texas left hander has an ERA of 4.62 working as both a reliever and a starter and may run into trouble against a Padres lineup that is dangerous against lefties. San Diego is third in the big leagues in home runs against lefties and sixth in OPS.

If Bradford doesn't go past the lineup more than once, the Rangers weak bullpen may put the team in a tough spot. Texas has the fifth highest bullpen ERA on the year.

Snell's numbers are bringing this total down, but trust both offenses to have a strong showing on Sunday and push this game over the total.
