The Texas Rangers agreed to terms today with the reaminder of players they had left on the big league squad according to the Star Telegram. Those players were:

Jurickson Profar

Robbie Ross

Nick Tepesch

Michael Kirkman

Pedro Figueroa

Miles Mikolas

Joseph Ortiz

Ben Rowen

Shawn Tolleson

Matt West

Robinson Chirinos

Alex Castellanos

The Texas Rangers now have everyone wrapped up going into the 2014 season. Players like Robbie Ross and Jurickson Profar are making only around the league minimum ($500,000) and for Ross this is the last season before he is arbitration eligable. So what exactly does this mean? It means that it is time to really get down to the baseball part of spring training.

The Texas Rangers begin playing games tomorrow when they face off against the Royals at Surprise Stadium, and I feel like tomorrow is Christmas even though it is only a spring training game. I have been training all off season for this. My live tweeting may not be very funny or informative at first, but I should be back into practice in no time. I will be at work at my day job, so I will also have to be sneaky, and that always makes it more exciting. Yu Darvish will be on the mound, most likely for just one inning, and then we will see a few more names we recognize, and after that we get to watch guys hoping to make the team. It should be so much fun!

I know that tomorrow is not nearly as exciting as opening day, but come on, it is still exciting! Baseball is back, Texas Rangers style tomorrow!
