Texas Rangers third baseman and heart and soul of the team Adrian Beltre is set to return to the line up Friday against the Mariners. It couldn’t come soon enough with Kevin Kouzmanoff missing a couple of days due to back tightness. Friday is going to be an exciting day for the Texas Rangers and their fans, who will finally get to see Adrian Beltre back on the field. Adrian Beltre missed several weeks due to a quad injury, which differs from the hamstring injuries that he seemed to suffer so much from last season. Adrian Beltre’s return will mean a good deal to a team that is riding a 3 game win streak, and has won 8 of their last 9 games, six of those games against division rivals.

Many of you that follow me on twitter know that Adrian Beltre is one of, if not my actual favorite player, and he is so fun to watch, especially when he and Elvis Andrus are out there together jawing at each other. The Texas Rangers have continued to win without Adrian Beltre on the field, that is true, but I think that the fun atmosphere will be back with the return of Beltre. Also, the Texas Rangers should get Matt Harrison back this weekend as well, so the oft injured roster is going to get two big boosts during their division series with the Mariners. I very much look forward to seeing Adrian Beltre back on the field Friday, and I bet you do too!
