Live Game Thread: Rangers vs. Astros 7-9-14

The Astros have a chance to do something they have not done in a while tonight against the Rangers, and that is move out of last place. They could relegate the Rangers to the last place spot with a win, but the problem for the Houston club is that they are facing off against Yu Darvish tonight. The Astros are on of the teams that the Rangers ace has not had much trouble handling, he almost no hit them last season.

Things have not gone well for Rangers pitching of late, and every team seems to be teeing off on them right now. I am very hopeful that Yu Darvish can change that tonight. Look, anything can happen in a baseball game, and tonight I am hoping that Darvish shuts down the Astros and keeps the Rangers out of last place, for now. Miles Mikolas and Phil Irwin had some trouble with this Astros lineup, but Yu Darvish is the hope of the Texas Rangers! If he struggles tonight, I don’t know what Rangers fans are to do!

The Astros are sending Dallas Keuchel to the mound, and he has had a decent season for the Astros (8-5 with a 3.06 ERA). The Rangers are struggling to hit the ball off of anyone right now, I hope they can change their fortunes tonight!
