Offseason ball update (Dec 1)

Several Texas Rangers continue to play in offseason ball. Here is a quick update on them.
Feliz pitched another scoreless inning against the Estrellas on November 29. Again, he pitched in the 8th inning in a non-save situation, but he managed to take them down in order with 2 pop outs and a fly ball to left field. After 4 games, Feliz still has a 0.00 ERA with 6 strikeouts and no walks.

Beltre had recently struggled, but since November 24 has managed to have a string of good games. On No 30, he went 4 for 5, all singles, and had 2 RBI. He has raised his batting average to .289/.313/.333/.646. Leonys Martin Today, December 1, Leonys Martin joined Licey. He’ll be playing in the Dominican Winter League getting some extra at-bats and time in center field.

Ortiz is playing in the Venezuela league. Over 13 games he has an ERA of 4.50 with 10 strikeouts and has allowed 3 walks. In his last 3 games he didn’t allow any runs and recorded 2 strikeouts. Ortiz has pitched in some save situations and so far has 2 saves.
Sardinas hasn’t played since Nov 18, but has had a good season so far. He has a batting average of .354/.418/.441 /.859 with 9 doubles, 1 triple and 6 stolen bases.
