Texas Rangers spring training is now underway in Surprise, AZ. It feels like it has been am eternity since we have seem anyone is a Texas Rangers uniform throw a pitch, and we got to today which makes this Ranger fan very happy.

Tommy Hanson went first this morning and according to several of the beat writers Hanson threw 40 pitches.

After Hanson Matt Harrison threw 44 pitches and looked good doing it.

Harrison seemed to have mo back pain after throwing today and I believe that this is a great sign for the Texas Rangers. If Harrison is truly healthy, that will be a very big boost for the Texas Rangers Rotation. After Harrison, Yu Darvish threw 36 pitches. It is just good to see Darvish throwing a baseball.

Today means that baseball is only a few short weeks away, and even spring training games are better than almost anything else in sports. Of course that is my opinion. The fact is there will not be new Texas Rangers news everyday to look at and read about, and I am honored that you consider us as one of your sources for Texas Rangers baseball. We will have a recap everynight for you to read and enjoy to make sure that you are causht up on everything that happened that day in spring training. The first full squad workout is coming up soon, so get ready because baseball is back!
