All players have reported to spring training for the Texas Rangers. Tomorrow position players will start their workouts and we’ll inch closer to that first spring training game against Kansas City on February 27 at 2:05 pm CT.
So far several players have arrived looking leaner and healthier. Prince Fielder arrived with a new hair cut, and he’s one of several players looking thinner.
Maybe I'm nuts (don't answer that), but #Rangers Prince Fielder looks like he's lost some weight. Agree? pic.twitter.com/GpyraawJoR

Over the offseason Prince Fielder spent months getting into shape doing some MMA style training and by lifting some weights. He didn’t weigh himself to see how much weight he’s lost, but he does look leaner.
"“I have no idea what it is, but I think I lost something,” Fielder said. “I definitely lost something.” (ESPN Dallas – Richard Durrett)"
Also, there have been many comments about Yu Darvish and Matt Harrison losing some weight. Harrison confirmed that he as lost 20 pounds during the offseason.
I was able to ask him via Anthony Andro during his Twitterview if he as a dog, can get a dog sitter for the season and is there a team dog sitter.
Harrison said he does have dog sitter and he’s not chasing any dog up some stairs.
"“I did away with our stairs, we have flat surfaces every where, wheel chair ramps”. said Harrison jokingly"
Andro joked that will make Rangers fans happy. Watch Anthony Andro’s complete interview here (Fox Sports Southwest)
Besides for some of the Texas Rangers looking leaner, several are coming back healthy. Both Colby Lewis and Matt Harrison are feeling better than they have in years.
Tomorrow will be the first day that position players will workout. There will be several things going on this spring training such as competition for the closer role, 5th spot on the starting rotation, catcher and second base. Just to name a few. I know sometimes spring training can be boring, but there are plenty of things to watch this spring training. The team is different and could be one of the best, and they will be fun to watch.
