Texas Rangers Opening Day – The Texas Rangers still start the season off at home this year on March 31 against the Philadelphia Phillies at 1:05 pm.  May fans have anticipated watching Yu Darvish take on Cliff Lee in the season opener, but now will probably see Tanner Scheppers or Martin Perez instead.

Spring training hasn’t been very friendly to the Texas Rangers.  There probably hasn’t been a worse spring training when you consider the setbacks and injuries the players have suffered.  But things could be worse and are not as bad as they seem.  Everyone should be excited for another great year of Texas Rangers baseball.
