Texas Rangers Opening day – 5 reasons to be excited
By David Cash

5. New food and drink additions
Every year when the new season starts, the Texas Rangers unveil a new lineup of food and drinks at the concession stands. This year is no different.

One of the big attractions is the addition of Bacon on a stick. How could you go wrong with that? Next year they should introduce chocolate dipped bacon on a stick. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. It is fantastic! Even though the Rangers don’t have a chocolate version yet, the regular plain ole Bacon on a stick will be just fine, but a juicy Bacon stick will set you back $7.00.

The Rangers have also added a new version of their over the top hot dog called the Choomongous. It features a 2-foot long asian beef dog with spicy coleslaw for a jaw dropping $26.00.
Another one, which I’m not sure I’m a fan of yet, guess I’ll have to try it is the frozen beer. It looks like a beer smoothie.

It will cost $7.75, which is about normal beer price. It comes with regular beer with the frozen beer on top.
