1  New Rangers Lineup – Boom!

If you have been following the Texas Rangers during the spring training, I’m sure you are starting to get a little worried.  But, you should still be excited to see the new Rangers lineup.  The only remaining player in the lineup from the 2011 World Series team is Elvis Andrus.  But, that isn’t any cause for alarm.  Jon Daniels and the Texas Rangers have been busy during the offseason upgrading the offense.

No one expected it, but the biggest splash of the offseason was made by the Texas Rangers when they traded for Prince Fielder.  Another big surprise to everyone was when the Rangers picked up Shin-Soo Choo.  Those two players make a big impact in the front half of the lineup.

The lineup

The new lineup is without Geovany Soto and Jurickson Profar, but the Rangers will have Robinson Chirinos and Donnie Murphy to fill in until their return.

One thing that is exciting to see is the powerful combo of Prince Fielder and Shin-Soo Choo.  Last year Adrian Beltre was without any protection from

Nelson Cruz

.  Having Prince and Beltre back-to-back will make the first 5 hitters very hard to pitch around.  Also, I expected Prince Fielder to hit several home runs over the right field fence.  So buckle up and enjoy the ride, Fielder is going to put on a good show at the ballpark.
