The Texas Rangers have announced that Yu Darvish will pitch Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays, according to T.R. Sullivan.

This is great news for the Texas Rangers. Getting Darvish back will be a very big thing indeed for a rotation that really needs a big shot in the arm.

This is great news for the Texas Rangers. Getting Darvish back will be a very big thing indeed for a rotation that really needs a big shot in the arm. It will be nice to know that Yu Darvish will be taking the mound only six-days late to start the season. I am a little worried about him because he seems to have a few nagging injuries going back to last season, but just having him back on the mound is going to be a huge confidence boost for a Texas Rangers team that needs a boost and a fan base that will be thrilled by this news.

So that means that the Texas Rangers will send Robbie Ross to the hill tonight, Joe Saunders Friday, Nick Martinez Saturday and Darvish on Sunday. Then the rotation will start over on Monday with Tanner Scheppers again. It will be interesting to see if this will be Nick Martinez’ only start in a Texas Rangers uniform this season or if he will get more. Keep it here for all of your Texas Rangers news!
