Monday, April 21, 2014: Texas Rangers defeat Oakland Athletics 4-3

PITCHING:
This was a great game. I was there and let me tell you, A’s fans were not pleased. I was worried about Yu Darvish as the A’s seem to have his number, which usually frustrates Darvish. However, Darvish kept calm and his final line was 6.0 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 HR, 4 BB, 6 K’s. Joakim Soria strikes out Yoenis Cespedes to with the game and earns his 4th save of the season.

Darvish 6 Innings.

Soria gets the win.

HITS AND PLAYS:
Shin-Soo Choo homers in his first at-bat of the game.

Kevin Kouzmanoff gets a single to bring in Fielder, score 2-3 top of the 4th.

Prince Fielder gets RBI single top of the 5th to even the score 3-3.

Donnie Murphy drives in the go-ahead run in the 8th putting the Texas Rangers on top 4-3.

It was only fitting, to me, that Michael Choice made the catch for the final out. However, I couldn’t find a clip of that, so here is the one of him stealing 2nd despite pitchout.

The Texas Rangers also defeated the A’s last night (5-4) and finish the series today. Now you’re all caught up on how great your Rangers are playing. As of this moment they are only half a game back from the A’s. I know they can win it tonight! LETS GO RANGERS!!!
