Shin-Soo Choo May Miss Today’s Game

Shin-Soo Choo is having more ankle soreness, according to texasrangers.com. Choo had to leave yesterday’s 12-2 victory over the Tigers early because he felt soreness in his ankle.

"“I can’t tell right now,” Choo said on Saturday. “I’ll have to wait and see how it feels tomorrow.”"

Shin-Soo Choo, who is batting .309 on the season with a team leading six home runs, has been dealing with some soreness in his left ankle on and off this whole season, and he is just another on the list of Texas Rangers who seem to be dealing with some sort of injury. This would probably not even be a big deal if it was not for the fact that the Texas Rangers are missing half of their roster already due to injury.

The Rangers will most likely play Michael Choice in place of Shin-Soo Choo today and hope that his ankle feels better after a day of rest. They really need him to be 100%, he is one of those veteran players, along with Adrian Beltre, that the Rangers are going to need to really step it up now that Prince Fielder is out for the rest of the season. Lets all cross our fingers and hope that this is just a one day thing and that Choo does not land on the DL! I can’t take anymore DL news right now!
