Although the season has just begun, and the Saguaros are 1-1, I thought I would give you a quick update on our Texas Rangers future stars.

- RHP Lisalverto Bonilla ended the season with the Texas Rangers in Arlington and has not pitched in the AFL yet.
CATCHER/INFIELD/OUTFIELD:
- SS Michael De Leon is the youngest player in Arizona Fall League history at just 17-years of age. De Leon has played in one game and had 3 at-bats resulting in one walk and one strikeout.
- LF Nick Williams is batting .222/.222/.222 in two games. Williams has one run, two hits, two RBI, and two strikeouts in 9 at-bats.
- C Pat Cantwell has not played yet, but is scheduled to start at catcher tonight.
Even though the Arizona Fall League is used as instructional ball, like Minor League, players form bonds and try to hone their craft while there. The league plays October 7 thru November 13, and have their Championship Game on November 15.
I will be following our Surprise Saguaros players for the season and will give you updates on how our future stars are doing.
