The Texas Rangers announced today that they’ll again play in the Alamodome in San Antonio. They will be playing an exhibition game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Jeff Wilson also reported that the Rangers will be sending a split squad to San Antonio to play the Los Angeles Dodgers. The short game series is known as the Big League Weekend and will mark the 3rd straight year the Rangers have played at the Alamodome. The Texas Rangers played the San Diego Padres in 2013 and the Houston Astros in 2014.
There have been a lot of renovations to the Alamodome to help accommodate a baseball game. Watching the games last year it did seems that balls hit to the right field had a pretty good chance of leaving the park. But, at least these games are just practice and are mainly done for the fans.
