(1-2). Previous: n/ath. Philadelphia Phillies. 20. team. 6. The Phillies have the potential to be good. A full class of free agents headlined by Jake Arrieta and Carlos Santana could push this team to be a competitor. But an odd balance of veterans and young guys means that a lot of this team is very much a wildcard for 2018.

Previous: n/ath. Baltimore Orioles. 19. team. 11. Baltimore’s pitching staff is one that could go in two drastically different directions. The Orioles dropped 2 of 3 to the Twins and showed that this team is 50/50 on quality. In a tough AL East division, Baltimore likely will be a seller come the trade deadline.. (1-2)

39. The Blue Jays split a series with the Yankees to open the season which is impressive. However, despite a respectable rotation, the consistency at the plate just isn’t what it used to be for the team up North.. (2-2). Previous: n/ath. Toronto Blue Jays. 17. team

16. team. 17. The Braves took 2 out of the 3 from Philadelphia including a win in which they put up 15 runs. A lack of dominance in the rotation will hold them back but they could cause some trouble for teams down the road.. (2-1). Previous: n/ath. Atlanta Braves
