5. team. 9. Chicago arguably has the deepest rotation in the league. Jon Lester, Kyle Hendricks, Yu Darvish and Jose Quintana show that this team is built for the postseason. Although they split a series with the Marlins, the Cubs will likely be around come the NLCS.. (2-2). Previous: n/ath. Chicago Cubs

The Yankees lineup probably has the most upside of any team in baseball. Stanton, Judge and Sanchez are a scary trio for any pitching staff. Pair that with a solid starting rotation and the race in the AL East will be a fun one to watch.. (2-2). Previous: n/ath. New York Yankees. 4. team. 43

14. The Boston Red Sox are in my opinion, the top competitors in the AL for the Astros. Chris Sale and David Price headline a quality rotation and the Sox lineup is formidable top to bottom.. (3-1). Previous: n/ath. Boston Red Sox. 3. team

team. 90. The Nationals are a team with tons of upside as long as they stay healthy. Bryce Harper in a contract year may be a scary sight to see and Washington made a solid start to the season sweeping the Reds.. (3-0). Previous: n/ath. Washington Nationals. 2

team. 135. Uhh. Well. They won the World Series. Then they got better this offseason. Taking 3 of 4 from the Rangers was a solid way to start the season. Houston is without a doubt the World Series favorites.. (3-1). Previous: n/ath. houston astros. 1
