With all of MLB participating in an off day today, what better way to have some fun than to pick out a Texas Rangers All-Time 25-man roster?

In honor of the 2018 All-Star break, let’s have some fun by picking out the Texas Rangers all-time roster. Not just the all-time starting lineup, but an entire 25-man roster. All-Star appearances will be a factor; however, additional criteria will need to be met. Certain intangible qualities, such as loyalty, leadership, and overall likability, will be factored in.

All 25 players included should have played at least four seasons with the Texas Rangers. Yes, that eliminates Alex Rodriguez. Rodriguez played just three seasons with Texas. Plus, he didn’t exactly leave as any sort of fan favorite among Texas Rangers Nation.

I will spoil some fun by telling you each member of the franchise that made it to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame will be included. This consists of Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez, Nolan Ryan and Ferguson Jenkins. Unfortunately, Ryan nor Jenkins were inducted as a Ranger, but each without a doubt contributed great success to the franchise.

So, without further ado, let’s get started…
