2018 was not kind to the Texas Rangers. But even in a lost season, there are Rangers players that stood out and deserve to be awarded.

That’s a wrap! The Texas Rangers end the 2018 season with a 67-95 record, finishing last in the American League West. Furthermore, Texas closes the year with the 5th worst record in the AL and the 23rd worst record in Major League Baseball.

It was a season to forget from a big picture perspective; however, there were certainly parts of the picture to like. The organization and its fans witnessed a few breakout seasons from Rangers players both at the plate and on the mound. And there should definitely be some excitement geared towards the future given the current youth of the team.

Hopefully 2018 was rock-bottom, but even in a rock-bottom season, players deserve to be recognized and awarded for their individual success.

Without further ado, here are your Texas Rangers’ end of season awards…
