Texas Rangers: Five non-tendered free agents to ponder signing

A new batch of free agents are in play for the rebuilding Texas Rangers to consider. Answers need to be found in the starting rotation, bullpen and outfield.

Add a whole new group of free agents to the mix. Last Friday was the deadline for players to be tendered contracts. Those who were not tendered automatically became free agents. So, the Texas Rangers have some more evaluating to do.

Texas should be greatly intrigued by the free agent newcomers, as most of them will come at a very affordable price. Of course, the troubleshooting areas are the starting rotation and the bullpen. The Rangers also have some figuring out to do in the outfield, specifically straight away center.

We’ll run through a handful of non-tendered free agents for the team to consider. The players listed won’t necessarily be game changers, but each could certainly play an impactful role on the 2019 Rangers’ squad.
