Offseason Simulation: Third Base Difficult to Fill for Texas Rangers

The FanSided MLB mock offseason is over and while filling third base was a priority, answering the Texas Rangers needs was a bit of a struggle.

When we entered the FanSided MLB mock offseason signing or trading for an impact third baseman was one of our top three priorities. With names like Anthony Rendon and Josh Donaldson headline the free agent class, this seemed like the perfect time for our faux Rangers front office to lock in a consistent player at the hot corner moving forward. As it seems to go in all aspects of life, things rarely go according to plan.
