What Goes Into Building the Rangers List?

When crafting a Christmas list, every wise kid knows not to aim too high. You can’t walk away with everything on your list and if you set unrealistic expectations, you’ll always walk away disappointed. Instead, it takes time to put together a list that meets your needs, chases your wants and gives you realistic expectations for what you’ll have for the next year.

As fans, we have our idea of what the Rangers list should look like this offseason. First, outline the overall goal you hope your Christmas list can accomplish. For Texas, the goal of their list should be to compete for a Wild Card spot come the 2020 season. Whatever individual things the Rangers ask for should all come with the knowledge that they are a piece to reach the ultimate goal of returning to the postseason next season.
