With the Texas Rangers falling further out of the postseason race selling makes more and more sense. If Lance Lynn gets dealt at the deadline, what are the top destinations for him?

After a somewhat surprising start to the 2020 season, the Texas Rangers found themselves in the midst of the ice for a spot in the expanded postseason. However, a six-game losing skid including a rather depressing home and home sweep at the hands of the San Diego Padres quickly soured any thoughts of sneaking into the playoffs. Now attention turns to how the Rangers will approach the MLB Trade Deadline with selling looking like a very real possibility.

If the Texas Rangers do entertain offers, and all signs point to the they will, Lance Lynn is certainly to draw some interest. In fact, he’s already been the subject of some interest from other teams and links to potential suitors are sure to increase over the next nine days. If the Rangers were to shop Lynn, what would be the top destinations for the Cy Young candidate who is sure to be one of the more coveted arms on the trade market?
