The Texas Rangers are desperately in need of a big bat in the outfield. These are a few available options for them to consider.

With the Hanshin Tigers signing Mel Rojas Jr. to a two year, $5 million deal, that took out the biggest free agent target the Rangers could have had in left field.

The switch-hitting 30 year old had a breakout campaign this past season in the KBO, hitting .349/.417/.680 with 47 home runs.

He would have been the perfect fit for the Texas Rangers, who desperately need help in the outfield.

Alas, you can’t always get what you want, but there are several really good options in the free agent pool that could help the Rangers outfield situation this upcoming season.
