It was Mothers Day this past Sunday and the mothers in attendance at the Texas Rangers game were in for a treat. The Rangers blew out the Seattle Mariners 10-2 in Arlington.

The Texas Rangers took two out of three from the Seattle Mariners and got swept by the San Fransico Giants this past week. Let’s find out who made the weekly Who’s Hot Who’s Not list.

Texas Rangers Weekly Report: Who’s Hot

Adolis Garcia

Garcia is probably going to go down as one of the best trades the Rangers ever made during this past offseason. Garcia had 7 RBIs, 2 HRs 10 hits, and scored 4 runs this past week.

He also had this amazing throw from the outfield to secure the victory from the Seattle Mariners.

All I have to say to John Daniels right now is extend this man before he becomes the next Carlos Gomez and leaves after his one-year deal.

If someone asks for Garcia in a trade at the deadline this year, tell the other owner he’s not available and hang up the phone.

Dane Dunning

Dunning came to pitch against Seattle as he had the best game of the season so far. He allowed 6 hits and struck out 10 players in 5.0 innings pitched. I think he’s starting to return to the Dunning we saw throw when the season began.

Texas Rangers Weekly Report: Who’s Not Hot

Jordan Lyles

Although Lyles had 6 strikeouts against the Giants, he did give up some pretty big hits against the Giants. I think Lyles will get demoted into the bullpen if he keeps up the below average pitching.

Kohei Arihara

Arihara is probably close to getting demoted like Jordan Lyles. His pitch order is so predictable that batters are starting not to bite at his sliders and changeups.

The pitching staff needs to go over a new pitch order for him that players haven’t seen yet. Until he does this I don’t think he will be effective as a starting pitcher for the Rangers.

Conclusion/looking forward to Astros series

I know we have two series against our rivals the Houston Astros coming up soon. All I want to say to our readers and Rangers fans is please behave better than the Yankee fans did.

I know they got away with cheating in the World Series and it sucks MLB fans found out years later but most of the players on their current roster weren’t around when they cheated.

I don’t care if you make noise or boo when Altuve or Correa comes up to bat, but let’s keep the expletives out of it with kids around. Let’s show the Yankees how to troll with class and cheer on the Texas Rangers to another Silver Boot Title.
